Cancellation Policy

At Your Cretan Local, we understand that travel plans can change. This Cancellation Policy explains the conditions under which bookings may be cancelled, modified, or refunded.

1. Cancellation by the Customer

Customers may cancel their booking by contacting us via email at info@yourcretanlocal.com.

  • More than 48 hours before the scheduled tour or experience: Full refund.
  • Less than 48 hours before the scheduled tour or experience: No refund will be provided.
  • No-shows: No refund will be provided.

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method whenever possible.

2. Booking Modifications

If you need to change the date or details of your booking, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will do our best to accommodate changes, subject to availability. Changes cannot be guaranteed and may not be possible for all tours, experiences, or services.

3. Cancellation by Your Cretan Local

In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel a tour, experience, or service due to:

  • Extreme weather conditions
  • Safety concerns
  • Road closures or local restrictions
  • Insufficient operational availability
  • Unexpected events beyond our reasonable control

If we cancel a booking, customers will be offered either:

  • An alternative date or experience, subject to availability; or
  • A full refund of the amount paid.

4. Force Majeure

We shall not be held liable for cancellations, delays, or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Wildfires
  • Flooding
  • Earthquakes
  • Government actions or restrictions
  • Public health emergencies
  • Strikes or transportation disruptions

In such circumstances, refunds or alternative arrangements will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days. The time required for funds to appear in your account may vary depending on your payment provider or bank.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Refunds, where applicable, will be returned to the original payment method used during booking.
